4 Steps to Success
Our first step together is to meet to discover issues that you are concerned about with your child. Click here to schedule an appointment in my calendar. If you’re a working parent and need a weekend or evening appointment, please contact me by email (email@example.com) for scheduling. Feel free to book ahead a few weeks if you have a regular time slot that you know works well for you.
Get Organized. I’ll show you how to become organized so that all of your documents, assessment reports, school information, staff information, letters and everything you need are all in a 3-ring binder. This is an important step so that you can access all of your child’s information and be IEP ready. I also want to emphasize that IEP readiness is a year-long process, not just something that you get ready for at your child’s annual meeting.
How do I?………I will help you troubleshoot your situation that’s identified in step 1. once you’ve taken the necessary steps to organize your child’s information. I want to help you clearly identify and move forward with a solution and an IEP that results in an array of program and services that meets the needs of your child. We will take a look at what measures you’ve already taken with your school district, and what will be an effective solution moving forward.
I will write letters to the school district for you that begin to trigger timelines and other actionable steps that the school district must take in order to comply with state and federal laws under IDEA.
